Trafficking

Education and awareness is something we each can do to combat trafficking. At The Light Ranch we hope to do more and provide housing and rehabilitation for victims of sex trafficking and utilize our programs in their journey to transformation.

Micah 7:8

"For though I fell, I will rise again. Though I sit in darkness, the Lord will be my light."

Psalm 34:18

"The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves the crushed in spirit."

Matthew 5:13

"You are the salt of the earth. But if the salt loses its saltiness, how can it be made salty again? It is no longer good for anything, except to be thrown out and trampled underfoot."

John 8:12

“I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.”

"In 2020 there was a 98% increase in online attempts by sex traffickers trying to recruit children."

National Center for Missing and Exploited Children 2020

"Human trafficking is a billion dollar industry, garnering more than $150 billion annually. The United States leads all other nations in consumption. Trafficking has been reported in all 50 states."

Tim Tebow Foundation

"In 2016 a survey taken showed 91% of 130 trafficking survivors respondents reported being arrested."

National Survivor Network

"Human trafficking is often confused with human smuggling, which involves illegal border crossings. In fact, the crime of human trafficking does not require any movement whatsoever. Survivors can be recruited and trafficked in their own home towns, even their own home."
